Finally Mobile!

I finally figured it out!

On vacation in California, my repeated attempts to reach a heat vent (that I wasn't supposed to be touching) resulted in the ability to crawl! Over the course of the trip, I got pretty good at it, and can now generally get around as I wish.

Silly Cats

Seriously, these cats are hilarious, if not a little standoffish. I giggle every time I see them. They are really nice...whenever I grab them, they leave behind a fistful of hair for me to eat!

Almost mobile...

Well, sorry I have not posted in a while. I have been very busy, but I can almost crawl!

Needless to say, when I finally pull this off, it will be a huge development. In the current situation, my cousin Emma gets grandma's good toys first, the cats can escape my spitty grasp, and my parents can mostly keep me out of trouble...but not for long! I will keep you posted on this development, but if anyone has any advice for me in this area, please let me know.

I know I'm on the right track...

This thing gets heavy

Well, I've figured out how to roll over from my back to my tummy. It sounded cool at first, but it turns out that being on one's front side isn't all it's cracked up to be. The thing is, you have to hold your head up. Emma didn't mention that part. (It's easy for her to enjoy it, she can crawl.)

As such, I have been trying to work out to improve my upper body strength. I can already bench up to eight ounces, and can do almost two pushups at a time!

A deep introspective on almost five long months of life.

Hi Everyone!

My name is John and this is my first post! I'm 4 1/2 months old-my daddy and mommy say I'll be 5 months on April 4. I'm learning all kinds of new things. Some of my new favorite things to do are: eating big people food (peas and applesauce are my favorites!), playing with my toes and making lots of different noises like 'goo' and 'gaaah'. My daddy and mommy are pretty silly and I laugh with them all the time. A couple weeks ago I went to the doctor (which wasn't very fun by the way) and they said that I was 14.7 pounds and 26 inches, whatever that means. Well, gotta go before mommy catches me-I'm not supposed to be awake! Come back and see my new pictures and read my new posts!
